Donna has been a guest speaker at the TEAR National Conference twice now. Her story, told with humility and grace, continues to deeply touch all who hear it. Her absolute passion for reconciliation is clearly driven by her strong faith and her Christ-inspired love for all people. The impact of her presence is not guilt or despair but hope. Hope, that through people like Donna, two communities separated by past injustice and ignorance, can come together in understanding, love and forgiveness.

Donna spoke at the 2010 International Women’s Day Breakfast hosted by Lake Macquarie Council. Her words moved, inspired, and stirred many feelings in the audience. This was evident in the standing ovation she received at the conclusion.
Donna Meehan...a beautiful human been sent to the Earth to gracefully promote peace, love and respect. Her speech deeply touched our hearts, mobilized our thinking and inspired us so much to support the process of reconciliation as individuals. Donna has been a wonderful role model and inspiration to her colleagues, Aboriginal students and parents, teachers and wider community. Donna has enriched my life in many ways teaching me to never give up and believe in hope and justice.
